County Profile Paper

County given: Lake (County in California)

The paper is a needs assessment and analysis of a selected

California county. Each student will be given a specific county to do for this assignment.

You need to collect and synthesize all vital information related to the assigned county. Use

the recommended data sources listed on Our course website and add information from

literature, including scholarly journals and the policy websites listed in the syllabus

bibliography. In the paper, you will:

a. Discuss county general information and develop a health-related profile;

b. Identify one or two of the most crucial healthcare problems in the county (focusing

on cost, access, and quality);

c. Discuss the consequences of the problem(s);

d. Discuss what has been done in the county to address the problem(s);

e. Recommend actions to address the problem(s).

compare your county information with the statewide average


for context.
Use tables and graphs to display your data if it is necessary. Use APA format

consistently and correctly. [Note: You must understand and utilize APA format; non-APA

formatted papers will be rejected for reformatting]. The report should be 10-15 pages

(double line-spaced, 10–12-point font), not including the title and reference pages.
